EEEE Ltd. is a company incorporated in 2020, founded by Dennis Lee, a son who had run the family business known as Lee Luen Yick Rattan Factory Ltd. (L.L.Y.R.F.L. or simply LLY in short herein below.) LLY was a Family business, started as a simple workshop, had grown into factory, and then incorporated into import and export company of a few hundred people by 1970. The rattan processing work, is general process of transforming imported rattan raw material from tropical jungle of Asia, into an assorted group of industrial usable material, for internationally distribution. The processing is still very much a labor-intensive work semi-industrial work, that require some simple machine sight inspection and classification. To transform natural rattan into a neat and uniform material, our workers require simple neat simple beauty instinct and some handicraft skill.
The reasons: Rattan is a tropical plant, like palm of the Calamus biological family plant. It is naturally diverse in size, shape, color, density, pliability, flexible strength and, textility. Unlike timber or cotton, it is a naturally very non-uniform (in-homogeneity) raw plant material.
LLY started export of its products since 1970, manufacturing its products in Hong Kong until 1993, and re-grouped in China where skill and labor are economically available.
